robert Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Hi, Let me introduce myself first. I'm Robert from Holland and I played a lot with lego technic since I was 7 years old back in the seventies. And now my children play with lego and I rediscovered technic, so this winter I couldn't resist anymore and I bought the 8049 set (it was on sale :-)). And now I am an AFOL and I'm wrestling studless technic:-). I started building all kind of stuff I found online and surfed a lot on eurobricks and also lowlug. And I discovered bricklink and e-bay. Last week I got inspired by Grohl's blue tongue and I tried to build a copy, modifying it while building, and I decided to create a brickshelf gallery. Here's the link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=466470 I don't have a lot of blue beams, so my moc is yellow. I also made some technical changes. I replaced the 2 m-motors with one xl-motor and a differential. Since I don't have a small "return to center" spring I slowed the steering a bit to make it more "controlable". And I moved the rear wheels one stud (longer wheel base) to compensate for my heavy battery box. Thanks to Grohl for inspiration. Cheers, Robert Quote

Have a wonderful AFOL time! BTW, your model is awesome. All the best, Thorsten Quote
