LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 This is an outstanding creation and an innovative scene! I like the jungle's thickness ...great job! Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Nice landscaping Etzel. Great use of colors. Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 AWESOME scenery and cool 4x4 ride there 'Etzel'....those palm trees are to die for ! Great work and Brick On ! Quote
CptMugwash Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 That's very yummy indeed, I like the use of dark orange but at the same time would like to see some variation, idk if you've tried adding extra colours apart from the brown mud, you could try some dark tan to mix it up a little, other then that I think this is outstanding landscaping, I can imagine a whole 4x8 table covered in this and I really love the use of the brown heads as tree trunks, NPU and that jeep is pretty sweet too Good job. Legoless Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Beautiful rich colours- and using gray for the off roader really brings them out. Lovely MOC. I did wonder what I was going to see when I clicked the link- in medical terminology a 'T.I.A' stands for Transient Ischaemic Attack, a sort of mini-stroke that can present like a full-blown stroke (my mother is prone to those and had a major stroke a few months ago). She's made a wonderful recovery thankfully. Carry on MOCing. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Great job Etzel Love the colors! A really great scene Quote

In case someone doesn't know, T.I.A.(This is Africa) is a quote from the movie Blood Diamond Quote
Cecilie Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Very nice little scene . I haven't seen the brown heads as tree trunks before, it looks excellent . And yes, I envy you all that dark orange. I think my collection of dark orange bricks is limited to one lonely brick . Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 That has got to be the best use of dark orange pieces I've seen! These are simply perfect for the iron oxide-rich African soil, great job on this very well done scene Etzel! Quote
