So, the question we've all been wondering - are any of the designers at TLG using LDD for their design work? Sure they are!

As an example, legendary designer Steen Sig Andersen used LDD to design this exclusive set, the 21100 Shinkai 6500 (described in detail here):

Here is Steen in front of LDD, and some of the other models he has made, also with great probability designed in LDD.

Interstingly you can also see the model opened up in the TLG rendering software. You can also see the high level of detail of the bricks, where even the bevels of the bricks and the "LEGO" text on the studs is visible. Nice :sweet:
