-zenn Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) Blue-collar Hot Rod Too bad one of my daylight bulbs popped 15 minutes after taking these pic's... But I'm pretty happy that I finally found some use for those pistons other than a bucket or flower pot. A hot rod inspired by 'Jimmy Shine', 'Russel Mitchell' and the 'Bonneville Salt Flats'. L@go Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 You ask for criticism, but I'm sorry. You won't get any from me :) not negative, anyway. This is great - the colours, the fuel tank, the decals - and, not least, those Bonneville hubcaps. Again: Great work. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Nice car ...and great details for that engine! I like the rubber band used for the transmission band ...cool idea! Quote

Well the pistons are actually at the back as a fueltank, those air filters are cut torches. Edited March 14, 2011 by -zenn Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I'm lovin' the SNOT build of the body and the rear part, and as always, the engine work is very well-detailed. The door handles and the smooth rims are very nice details too. Another quality-made Hot-rod -zenn! Quote
-zenn Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 Thanks all! Don't know what to say, except for 'on to the next build'. Quote
