I just joined your online community and have fallen in love with this site and all of the members amazing creations. I recently got back into Lego after about a 15 year hiatus. I don't have too many sets or spare parts, but this site motivated me to tear apart the Lego creator set I have (6754 Family Home) and make my own creation.

This was my FIRST attempt ever; so please, be kind!

They are getting robbed!

I could not figure out how to insert the pictures natively. Or I do not have permission to do that yet.

Thanks mates!

Hey Winston, welcome to Eurobricks! Your first attempt ever looks totally sweet, and I'm seeing a lot of things to love there! The trans-clear stream in particular is a very nice idea :)

I've also noticed that you're working on a neighbourhood with the Emporium at its heart, so I'm sure we're bound to see some pretty exciting MOCs from you in the future! :sweet:

You will never have permission to upload photos like that. You need to use brickshelf and deeplink them

That does not have anything to do whatsoever with permission. And no one needs to use specifically Brickshelf in order to deeplink their pics - you can still use flickr and deeplink from there. The principle is exactly the same, but here's a simple tutorial:

1. Right-click on the picture in flickr, from "View all sizes" select the "Medium 640" option - although in this case you could also go with Large. Generally pics deeplinked on EB shouldn't be bigger than 800x600.

2. In the newly opened window with the pic in the respective resolution, right-click on it and (depending on what browser you're using): a) just use "Copy Image Location"; or b) click "Properties" and then copy the address from the "Location" field.

3. Using the above address, apply the [ img ] [ /img ] tags (no spaces) or just use the "Insert Image" button and you should be fine.

I must agree that is indeed a pretty good first attempt at a MOC Winston! I'm sure as you go along and see more inspiration from other builders you'll be able to improve your building skills. Good work and keep it up!

Very nice pick of starting with 6754 to make your first MOC in x amount of years (Yes, I used 6754 as well to make my first MOC comeback to LEGO!)

And, very nice use of pieces there. Good house that will fit modular styles.
