On his Brickshelf gallery, Krize recently posted 13 BIG pictures of his Lego Christmas Candle Carousel, which he calls a "Pyramide". It has "Star Wars Figs with Power Functions for Rotation." Christmas Carousels are very popular in Germany -- the heat from the candles turns the fan blades and the carousel. Candles will melt Lego pieces :oh: , so this one is activated using Lego Power Functions elements. Here is the link to a Quicktime video.

Haha, that's really funny that you posted my "pyramide" (sorry, I did't know the proper word for this thing in other countries), cause I didn't had the courage to post this here in the Star Wars forum. But finding it here in the technic forum, cause it works with power functions, is really cool and makes me  .

This one was an improvement of the

. But as you can see in the latest version, the movement of this carousel is NOT that smooth compared to the first try.

This version worked (i had to destroy it to get the bricks for other MOCs) with 2 M-motors. The technical part is kept VERY easy.

However, thanks a lot, DLuders, for showing my (a bit late) interpretation of a "christmas candle carousel" (should i change the name on brickshelf?).

edit: Here's the youtube

, probably faster. Edited by Krize

@ Krize/ milleniumfalcony: I really like the shape of your Weihnachtspyramide 2. I lived in Berlin for 3 years, and bought a real wooden one at an outdoor Weihnachtsfest for my big sister. I saw it again a few months ago in her house -- yours looks quite realistic.
