I want to start making my own Bioncle Based Creations, But I dont own any Bioncle set at the moment,

Witch sets do you recomend to start with for BBC,

Well, I don't do any Bionicle MOCs, but I think this is a pretty good starter set.

Toys R Us (or TRU) is one of the places that often carry that set or one like it. I heard that the UK had some recently but they are somewhat harder to find. If you live in the US Target stores have some of last years line on clearance and if you don't really care what parts you get, send me a PM. I have a box of parts I am willing to let go rather cheaply.

The Makuta set is pretty cheap used on eBay and has lots of useful parts, especially the hinges for the legs.

What you will find is that to build something serious you need lots of copies of the same part - repetition and colour scheme are what make a construction look good. Random mixed up parts from 8 different sets end up looking like poo.

You can buy tons of bulk part lots on eBay, although often they are 75% useless garbage parts, and only 25% parts you can use.

I have pretty much every set, and lots of spare parts. I can sell you some parts if you want.... tell me what you want.I can also sell you Makuta, or any set you want pretty much. PM me if interested.

TRUTH.

Whenever I buy a set, I buy two of the same one.

There's ALWAYS a desirable part in a set of which only one is included.

You're interested in Bionicle based creations.

Here's the secret... don't buy just Bionicle.

Buy some other Technic sets, if there are any.

Even better, buy some system (brick) sets as well. They can greatly enhance / fill out gaps on a Bionicle creation.

Here's me answer:

2 Piraka (as in 2 of the same one)

2 Racers (same) AND/OR X-Pods

And ANY big Bionicle or Technic set that jives with the color of the 2 sets above.

Also, if you see any of the smaller Bionicle figures, snag them for their ball joint connections.
