I think your headed in the right direction. What did you used to paint this with? or was it paint? nail polish? marker? next time for like the Sniper, take a piece of masking tape and put it where you don't want the paint, then paint and then after its dry peal the tape up. You will get cleaner lines and it wont look like Pie face lol. A for your design and B for implementation. I think your sniper gun is ingenious though! so very complex and star wars like. Very very nice! again I think your in the right direction. a little fine tuning and your there! Good job and don't stop bricking!

Interesting concept! I sure do like the idea to make a custom 501st and the blue arms look quite good, but you really have to work on the paint! It looks extremely messy as it is now!

Thanks for the comments guys. I know the paint is very messy. It's my first customization and I still have a long way to go. One of the reasons I joined this forum is to learn from great customizers like you. As for the gun, I'm much better at that becaue it doesn't require any paint.

Don't let any one discourage you. Remember this isn't about appeasing the masses of people on a forum. Its about what makes you happy and what you like doing. if you like it hey its what you like and that's all that matters. I'm not a big Minifig Modifier, I have had plenty of ideas for some though but see your always going to be a step ahead of me, because you ACTUALLY did it!

Cool troopers, the sniper rifle is good and the paint is a nice idea, bit messy though. Looking forward to more!

Those look good for your first customs! I like the sniper more than the commander, and the brick-built weapon looks fantastic. You might want to experiment with more common items, like say the current TCW clones, which most people tend to have tons of. Then experiment on the rare stormtroopers. Can't wait to see where you go with customization!

That's a good idea. Especially for my skill level . It would be easier to do that because clone helmets do not have as much intends as stormtroopers. I just did stormies because I like them better and I've seen alot of custom 501st clones lately. I'll keep working on different paint methods and post them as soon as they look better than these.

Yes, I like it too. It is all my design except I had no idea you could put a blck pin on a blaster scope until I saw it in one of Masked Builder's MOCs. Thanks, Masked!
