Crtlego Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 I'm interested in buying a few x928cx1 so that I can implement return-to-center steering in future models but I noticed that there are various colors for this part. I was wondering whether or not that color had anything to do with the spring stiffness such as in the system used with the shock absorbers in which various colors stand for different stiffness's. Does anybody know whether or not the colors mean anything with the hockey slap shot springs??? Quote
Conchas Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 No difference! They're all the same, as far as I know and can notice. Quote
DLuders Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 The various Lego Hocket sets (shown below) had different-colored x928cx1 "Technic, Axle Connector Rectangular Triple Spring-Loaded" parts. In order to have all of the hockey players be evenly matched, the internal springs all had to be the same. The part is pretty rare, so I would get what you can from the limited Bricklink sales. Quote
RohanBeckett Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 just ordered one myself from Bricklink.. none in Australia.. and no sellers had more than one for a reasonable price.. so I got it from a Canadian seller for about US$2.20 if it works well, I might order a couple more.. but they'd be from individual sellers... only 11 for sale at the moment! http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=42647 RB Quote
