RoryoCox Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Hello Eurobricks. Today I present a MOC I made during the week. It shows part of the Battle of Hogwarts and is made to tie into the upcoming release of the 'Battle of Hogwarts' set and the previous Hogwarts castle set. I hope you like it. Please comment as they will be appreciated Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Very nice 'Burman' and that visual effect on the wand is just the bomb....AWESOME ! Great lead lighting and stonework too ! Excellent work 'Burman' and keep on casting those spells ! Quote
Geertos13 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Wow ! Excelent work Burman ! It's nice to see someone make a Harry Potter MOC from time to time, I was beginning to worry ! ( Am I the only One building HP MOCS ??! ) About this creation, The Tower is just so fantastic ! The Rock Design on the Front is just so perfect ! And I'm truly in love with the destroyed entrance at the left ! Draco's wand effect is nicely photoshopped too and so is Trelawney's Crystall ( It is edited, right ? ) I do think the roof section above Trelawney could have been a bit less square-like. It's like one big block is underneath the roof, making the ceiling look pretty low too compared to the minifigure. Except for that Small detail I don't like I must say that the Shattered Windows are to die for and the messed up color sheme with Green and pruple is really cool, makes it look broken The Knight Attacking Draco made me laugh And the famous Trelawney throwing Crystall balls on the ennemies heads ( I think It's Greyback she hits in the book... ) is a really nice addition ! Now that I think of it, These two ( excluding the Knight ) minifigures are exactly the ones that I felt were missing in the Official Upcoming Battle for Hogwarts Set : Trelawney and Malfoy.. But hey, Professor Sprout is nice too I guess... So Burman, this is an outstanding creation with such a beautifull feeling and sure deserves a long live existence on your shelves ! If you have any Great Job, and keep making Harry Potter MOC's, we're missing a few at the moment Quote
ybmagpye Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Must agree with Geertos13, the rocks at the base of the tower are great. Love the work and your photography gets an A+ (no squinting necessary ) Quote
CommanderFox Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Real nice Burman! I think the only improvement would be getting alittle more interior action going on. Apart from that, real nice! CF Quote
