Has anyone made custom Lego parts with abs cement using silicon molds? Would this work or would resin be better? Thanks.

I've never heard of abs cement, but Im quite sure all the custom houses that cast parts eg. Arealight, Little Arms, Brickforge, Fine Clonier use resins. :sweet:

Hope this all helps you in your decision! :sweet:

Wow, that is an excellent list of tutorials there for all kinds of customizing! This should definitely be indexed. The resin casting process is quite interesting, I think. It actually doesn't look quite as hard to do as I thought!

Arealight used to back when he made things by hand.

BrickForge doesn't.

Both used high quality ABS on par with Lego.
