Legendarybarr Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Has anyone made custom Lego parts with abs cement using silicon molds? Would this work or would resin be better? Thanks. Quote
CommanderFox Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Has anyone made custom Lego parts with abs cement using silicon molds? Would this work or would resin be better? Thanks. I've never heard of abs cement, but Im quite sure all the custom houses that cast parts eg. Arealight, Little Arms, Brickforge, Fine Clonier use resins. Baylego Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Wow, that is an excellent list of tutorials there for all kinds of customizing! This should definitely be indexed. The resin casting process is quite interesting, I think. It actually doesn't look quite as hard to do as I thought! Quote
