Hello everybody,

Like TazManiac in his topic 2 weeks ago, I began planning a small scene with the new Gorilla minifigure acting as King Kong some time ago. After planning the Empire State Building in micro acrhitectural style and ordering tan bricks for it, the project was finished a day after TazManiac posted his fantastic vignette. I didn't want to post mine at all as I respect the community, but he encouraged me to do so. Thank you for the opportunity and here is another version of King Kong in New York!

The real work was an accurate version of the Empire State Building as I was not too fond of the official one. A small biplane complete with guns and a steering wheel as rotor joins the scene. :classic:

Thanks again for accepting another vignette with similar content. :classic:

Cheers,

This MOC appeals to me as I like the smooth lines of the building - clearly identifiable as the Empire State Building, and the little plane is both really cute but detailed.

Surely there's no reason to feel bad about posting if you've already put all the hard work in?

Loads of people have said they want the "Godzilla" collectable mini-fig to do a "Godzilla vs King Kong" vignette so I'm sure there'll be loads of those around in time, too; and that's no bad thing, 'cos it's always nice to see other people's ways of doing things.

Thanks for sharing, I liked seeing it! :sweet:

An excellent scene Legostein! What really elevates this above the other similar King Kong vigs is the appropriate inclusion of the biplane on the scene. And yeah I agree your mini-Empire State is much better than the official one. Great job as always!

A very beautiful work (as usual) Christopher! The Empire State Building looks great and the biplane is a total success.

I'll be definitely waiting for a new mini scene with the release of the Godzilla costume.

Hello again!

Thank you very much for the nice comments! :classic: I appreciate it that you enjoy different interpretations of a scene from different builders. :classic:

For all the fans of the little biplane, here are the instructions. Although you probably would not have needed them.

Have a great sunday everyone!
