After being inspired by the new LEGO train sets comming out, I decided to create one myself. It's my first locomotive MOC, and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. It was really cool to learn some new building techniques. Any comments and criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Thats a really good loco Capt. Stabbin.

Like Fuzzylegobricks said it does look a lot like the one coming out later this year, but I seem to like yours better I think it's the use of those windows it makes it look like my favouret style of Lego trains (80's). Also I like use of the numbers and all the foliage around the track, that's very good.

Brill Keep it up.

Excellent 'Capt. Stabbin', very classic trains by appearance...studs, studs and even more studs !

I agree also some grills in the front will give it even more genuine look and feel.

Great work and Brick On 'Capt.' !

Great Engine!

Did you happen to use the 9volt set from 1991 #4551 Crocodile Locomotive or the 7755 Diesel Heavy Shunting Engine

Here is URL from Brickset.

No I did not, as I do not own either of those sets. I have been experimenting with Power Functions, but as of yet it is only a push model.

Thanks,
