Hi there,

I have been looking on Lego Shop @ Home & noticed they use the colour names Dark Stone Grey & Medium Ston Grey.

I believe these are the same as the Dark Bluish Grey & Light Bluish Grey however I'm just guessing & I was hoping that someone could confirm my suspicions. These "Stone" colours aren't mentioned as a colour on Bricklink. I'd like to be sure I'm getting the same colour when I place my order the Shop @ Home.

My apologies if this has come up previously, which I'm sure it has (maybe a few years ago), I just can't find a thread about it.

Thanks..

I asked the same question here, when I placed my first Pick a Brick order! Anyway, your suspicions are correct - Dark Stone Grey = Dark Bluish Grey, and Medium = Light Bluish Grey.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply, I knew the question must have been asked before, but finding answers through the search function never seems to yield anything for me.

Thanks again

Bricklink color names are often inconsistent with LEGO's official color names. For future reference, the Peeron color chart is a good reference source. It cross-references the Peeron, Bricklink, and official LEGO color names and numbers, as well as the ID numbers for those colors on LDraw. It's not by any means a perfect conversion chart-- hard for one of those to exist, since some Bricklink colors are internally inconsistent-- but as far as Pick-A-Brick is concerned it should satisfy your needs.

Off topic, but the search seldom yields decent results for me. I use google and add "site:eurobricks.com" on the end. Works great.
