Masked Builder Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 If I had gotten this up in time it would have been my Winter Break Entry. Anyways, this still gets posted as a nice MOC if you ask me. I wanted a really run down look to his shed. I think I accomplished that. I also had to come up with quite a few items for him to be working on. lightningtiger Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Excellent MOC 'Masked Builder', I didn't realise Ron's dad was good at fixing things or D.I.Y., well I guess with Ron around you'll be fixing things all the time ! Though, I see the garage door doesn't open.....ah, but that's what magic is for ! Brick On 'Masked Builder' ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Nicely done MB, simple but gets the job done. You might have probably discarded this already, but it might help for your next builds to put more surface texture on the walls and some additional greeneries outside. Quote
Vindicare Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Nice little building, I like the tree! Quote
Geertos13 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Cool MOC Masked Builder. I like the idea of the garage which is quite unexpected. I always imagined to be more like a small barn or a granary. Though we can safely assume that, Mr Weasley was so obsessed with Muggles that he bought a Muggle Garage ! The Inside is nice too, a crowded space full of Muggle stuff. I though the Weasley's didn't have a way of travelling excpet for the Ford Anglia ? So What's up with the motorcycle ? Oh well. I guess it isn't big enough to transport the hole family anyway. Great job on this sweet little Garage and keep the Harry Potter MOCs coming ! Quote

Thanks! Well I didn't have the Anglia so I thought that after losing it he would got some other vehicle. Quote
sok117 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 I'll remember that for my next building. Yeah this Moc is pretty good, but to go with what KielDaMan said, I think when people use those SNOT 1x1 bricks on the corners, then attach 2x1 tiles to them, it looks really good on oldish buildings IMO, I'm pretty sure you can find examples of it online if you don't know what i'm taking about, but keep up the good work! Legostein Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Hello! My favourite details here are outside the garage, being those slim trees. It's an interesting idea which enriches the plant variety. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Silverface Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Very nice! The garage is quite small, but I don't think that's any smaller than J.K Rowling's Weasley's garage Thanks from the pics! Quote
