woody64 Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 During the retreat a lot of different troops having lost their units join. Due to the uniform mix it may be a picture of the Russian retreat where also unform parts where assembled and replaced by parts from other troops. Indeed it was done to show coloring in green and blue on WSF. 3 coats of paint and the result is not as bad. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 They turned out quite well indeed. But they look a bit too plain 1 colour, a bit too plastic-like. Perhaps some detailing in other colours would make these look awesome. Keep experimenting and I look forward to another update Quote

That was the purpose to change the white (WSF) material as nearby as possible. Woody64 Edited February 20, 2011 by woody64 Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Well, I meant that they don't look very realistic in just one 'odd' colour like blue or green. It's like they really had a plastic helmet in the napoleonic era. But with some details in different colours it will look more realistic. But indeed it looks more like LEGO plastic too (more like your previous molds) and that's a good point Quote
