LEGO Universe: The Battle of Nimbus Station

February 23rd marks the release of the all new LEGO Universe battle instance, Battle of Nimbus Station! (AWESOME!) It will require even more teamwork and strategy than Survival mini-game, has 30 progressively more challenging waves of enemies (this mini-game has an end?), and there are bosses to smash (so you say there's actually a point to the smashing?). There will even be a contest in early March so that gives you a week to learn the mini-game and improve your skills.

Contest or no it looks like a lot of fun. Would anyone like to team up for mindless smashing in Caldera Mar for practice? I've only had extensive team practice with Assembly but don't know how well I work with you Paradox and Venture guys. I'm sure a team of Assembly will have no problem with this instance but I'm not Assembly (<3 you guys though).

I know that is is going to be awesome . I love that there will be an end boss or an actual end to the game rather than a infinite survival. Either way this makes a welcome break to crux and all its dullness.

On a more techincal note, this should be called the battle of YouReeka as this is where the actual battle you see in the intro video before Netdevil changed it to become the NS we know today.

I think that Sentinel and Assembly will find this easier as they have slighty better weapons(I am not trying to start a faction war), but we all need to work together to win.

I'm very lucky this week as I have a week holiday to practice fighting and hopefully if we can get a team of Me, Jebediahs, IronMan and Stash2Sixx we would be a winning combination.

Yeah, those factions are built for increased survival.

I've only played four games so far: once with crabb, one random and two solo (3 out of 4 were wins). I need more EB games! The random group wasn't very fun; two engineer buddies wanted me and another knight to hide in a bush the whole time while turrets took care of everything. Not my style at all. I went on the other side of the map and did my own thing.

It's still a fun mini-game. Oh, and I just realized that faster completion times = better loot.
