sok117 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I know this has nothing to do with the clocks, but why does luke not have his Yavin Costume on in the DK book? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I know this has nothing to do with the clocks, but why does luke not have his Yavin Costume on in the DK book? Same thing I'm wondering. I reposted the pic in the SW topic, hope you don't mind, Solscud. Quote
Oky Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 First on-topic reply: Sweet! Thanks for the pic! The alarm clocks have been known for a while, but I guess this confirms that the clocks are coming to the US too! And it looks like Buzz's wings are detachable, just like the minifig! Interesting to know that there will be watches as well, ones with and ones without a minfig. Even though I'm a LTS collector, I think I'll pass on these. Gotta stop somewhere. Quote
Oky Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Both alarm clocks are available at kids.woot for $12.99! Quote
Mr Meleca Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Both alarm clocks are available at kids.woot for $12.99! hello i have the buzz and the stormtrooper. the wings are not detachable, you have to put them. To remove after, you need a screwdriver. It is much more unstable than the stormtrooper and the buttons are in its spacesuit. Quote
Aanchir Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 (edited) Here's the full collection of LEGO clocks from ClicTime. Another noteworthy one coming out this year is the Ninjago clock, which is the first one to come with an accessory. If anyone's interested, these minifigure clocks are at 1:6 scale, as are the LEGO Brick clocks. Not sure if other LEGO electronics not by ClicTime are at the same scale. If so, then you could easily stack (for instance) a minifigure clock on top of a LEGO Brick radio. If not, I guess there's not much point in them being intercompatible, unless you want more than one clock in the same room for some reason. EDIT: Nope, the other LEGO electronics from Digital Blue (including radios) are 1:10 scale. The flashlights from Play Visions look like they're at 1:6 scale, though (the Darth Vader flashlight is 7.5 inches, so the math seems to work out)! Edited June 18, 2011 by Aanchir Quote

It is much more unstable than the stormtrooper and the buttons are in its spacesuit. Hm, I guess that makes sense. Thanks for letting us know! By "unstable" do you mean it tends to fall over more than the other clocks because it's top heavy? I think that was to be expected. Once I receive mine, I'll be sure to review them. Quote

Once I receive mine, I'll be sure to review them. the hips have a "coccix", so the buzz do not falls back when seated, but even with this, it falls easily. When it is standing up is very stable, but seated, not as the stormtrooper. BTW, the lights are green, much more cooler than the storm. in an overall analisys, it is much better than the star wars collection... Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 These look great as they are, but thematically, as long as they're using the "actual" buttons of the Buzz Lightyear design for the clock functions, and including other details like the lights and all that recall the character, I think they've missed an opportunity with the Woody clock - wouldn't it have been great if he'd been an analog clock, and you wound him up by pulling the string in his back?
