RjShylocke Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 So I was wondering if anyone had ever built a Lego Dome. Because I am working on a HP ravenklaw room and that requires a dome. I could use those Prince of persia pieces from the Temple to have a golden dome on the outside but having the effect on the inside would be awesome! Quote
gotoAndLego Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 It really depends on how large you want it. The Lego Taj Mahal has a dome, perhaps you can reverse engineer it. Quote
MinifigFreak2010 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I should of thought of that. Check the lego Customer service page. There should be a place to locate instructions. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Easiest way is to use a Bram's Sphere Generator. Input a diameter, and the script will generate a .ldr file of a sphere similar to this. Quote
Mr.Brick Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 You could use this piece (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=43086) upside down, but only for the interior. You should build something different for the exterior. Quote
Jareth Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 If you make the bram style sphere, you could cover it with lego sails the way TLG did with the Grand Carousel Quote
