In fairness, there's a difference between "best" and "favorite." Someone can easily say one licensed theme is "best" while having a completely different favorite. Quote

And there is here no definition for what you mean by 'best'.On the financial side of things as far as TLG is concerned, Star Wars is a cash cow. (and one I like) But you can't say one theme is best outside of the previous condition. You can set up a poll to get a sample of what people want, but that only provides an average. Now since everyone has their own favorite theme and there are supporters for every theme (well, maybe not Galidor), this topic just becomes a list of which them each member likes most. And just for the record, Licensed theme that makes the most money? Star Wars. Licensed theme that sells the most sets? Star Wars. Licensed theme that's brought along the most new minifigs and parts? Star Wars. Licensed theme that has the most sets? Star Wars. Licensed theme that has the most non-set products? Star Wars. Licensed theme that TLG throws the most effort into? Star Wars. If you're going to take in all those factors and take a poll of who likes which licensed theme best, Star Wars will undoubtedly come out one top, and I don't say that just because I am a Star Wars fan. But again, that result is naught but an average. A sample of what most people like. And that doesn't make the theme 'best'. Every person has their own 'best' theme, and as I said, that just makes this topic a list of what each member likes the most. Quote
