-zenn Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) I felt like 'El Diablo' needed a counterpart, so I present to you... Daisy Cutter. A hot rod inspired by 'Train To Nowhere by Blazing Haley' and 'Ol School Rodz Magazine'. Also created for LugNuts 40th build challenge 'for the ladies'. Flickr Gallery Comments and criticism welcome. LEGO Guy Bri Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Another great hot rod -zenn What kind of wheels are those? Keep up the great work! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Pretty neat Hot Rod -zenn! The yellow finish is quite unconventional but still looks cool. This one makes for a good counterpart to El Diablo's version. Nice work! Quote

Gareth Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) Cool hotrod -zenn. I tried to build a version of 'Milners Coupe' but couldn't get the wheels right now you shown us a different technique I might attempt it again. Great job! Edited February 15, 2011 by Gareth Quote
-zenn Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) Cool hotrod -zenn. I tried to build a version of 'Milners Coupe' but couldn't get the wheels right now you shown us a different technique I might attempt it again. Great job! Thanks, those 'flick-fire' missles make really good axles, but I did cut off the studs on the rims in order to add the 'drum brakes'. I just try to use different wheels on each car I build. Kewl, please let me know if you do build it, I'm curious. It would be nice if you added a THX-138 license plate btw. Edited February 15, 2011 by -zenn Quote
