Shawn Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I put this together with my 5 year old this weekend. Since Amazon has these on sale for $52 each shipped to my door, I decided to give my idea a try. Hope that you like it. If any of you have tried this already, please let me know where I can find pics. The only pieces that I added are the pieces for the tender, train bases for the two cars and caboose and a few misc pieces to fix up the wheels and make them work on track. This is my first MOC posting, so I hope you like it. Here is a link to my flick photos. The engine is stock and I have not changed it. I am trying to figure out what to do before I tackle that one. Thanks Shawn Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Neat extension of the original train My first thought of what to do on the locomotive is to start with the wheels. Use the extras and moc up a similar setup like the Emerald Night. Then go from there, extending the boiler and cab. Keep up the great work Quote
vgsprites Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Nice job with the cars! Can't wait till we see what you you do with the engine. A while back ago we were discussing how to power this set in this topic. Hopefully this will help and give you ideas based on other people's MOCs. Good luck. Quote

Thanks Shawn This is from STEAM last year. You'll see something very similar to your MOD near the back. This the table I shared with Andrew Walker and the TS3 is his. Jonathan Quote
