the fixer Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Hi everyone, I've been planning for quite a while now to build a LEGO microscale version of my favourite childhood themepark ... Problem is that the themepark has pretty tricky to build attractions(or rather 'had' since I'm planning to build the park how it was in the early nineties and most of those attractions are gone now.) Here are a few pictures of the more challenging to build attractions: First of all is a 'Jumbo Jet' type rollercoaster: And another rollercoaster with the typical corkscrews and the likes: Oh- and of course there's a ferris wheel :) There's loads of other challenges, but I don't want to wear out my welcome... ;) SO... If anyone has tried something like this before or if anyone has some tips or building techniques- I would really appreciate it... It'd really help me out... (PS: I've got loads of other referenbce pictures if you want :) ) Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Judging by the amount of curves there, you might want to invest in tubing from pneumatic sets. It's made of rubber, so it's like a really long bar that you can flex into curvy shapes. Quote
