DLuders Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 DorlingKindersley posted this YouTube video about a Guiness World Record for the largest LEGO mosaic ever built. It contains 384,000 bricks placed by 2,000 participants, and measures 15.340 meters x 6.385 meters (97.95 square meters)! "DK and the LEGO Group have broken a Guinness World Record for the largest image built with interlocking plastic bricks, to celebrate the launch of the latest in DK's LEGO Brickmaster Books series! Watch how the magic happened! "Nearly 2000 visitors, young and old came along to help build this fantastic creation in October half term, 2010, and with the help and guidance from the Brickish Association and DK team, the mosaic was finished at lunchtime on Monday 25th October [2010]." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDKhwNepSNU Quote

Henchmen4Hire Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I couldn't care less about another star wars thing, but that's awesome that they got so many kids involved and none of them stole any of the sections! Good job kids! Quote
Zepher Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Cool stuff. Good planning, good use of children for the workforce, and just nice over-all idea. Fun share, thanks for bringing it here. Quote
