apemax Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Hello again. This is a slightly modified mini millennium falcon that i made a few years ago now and as you can see the colours are a bit off. It's been modified with a Ion Cannon (The one you can see) and a laser cannon which you can't actually see in these pictures. I am currenty making this in mlcad too. simonjedi Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Fallenangel is probably going to have a near fatal shitfit when he sees this! Falcon looks good, you got the basic shape and is easily recognisable ( If slightly greener). Can't wait to see the updated version. What is that pole thing supposed to be? Henchmen4Hire Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Let's be honest, a lot of the official designs are very boring. If all the ships had wilder proportions and kaleidoscopic colors like this they'd be way more entertaining to watch Edited February 7, 2011 by DrNightmare Quote
sok117 Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 "no ship that small has a rainbow inhibitor" Uhh, yeah, This isn't really looking to good, the colours are just all wrong, and I mean all wrong, it's really distracting when I want to look at the shape and the scale of the model, maybe if it was coloured more accurately... You could always just desaturate the image.... but then you'd be depriving yourself of this rainbow sherbert goodness! Quote
apemax Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Thanks for the comments all. Here it is rendered with pov-ray. Quote
Fallenangel Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Fallenangel is probably going to have a near fatal shitfit when he sees this! Yeah, something like that... What is that pole thing supposed to be? Could be a lightning gun. Colors aside, the mandibles seem too long but I can't say much more until I see more views. Seeing as it's in MLcad a top view shouldn't be too hard to get. Quote

AussieJimbo Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 ...as you can see the colours are a bit off. LOL. Just a bit. Nice one mate. I like it, then renders obviously help bring the vision together. :classic: Quote

apemax Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 It should be more circular. Yeah looking at it now and comparing to the real this it does nee to be more round. I'll make the next version of this more rounded. Thanks. I like the multi-color version. Thanks. I've also made one smaller than this one Which i will probably post in a few days once i have made it in MLcad. Quote
