You are an artistic genius. These are works of art.

I'm really loving the face on Thunder's torso. Corroder's face is also really well done.

The only problems with this is that Xplode looks nothing like the original (but I still love it) and Meltdown's face really resembles Shockwave from Transformers Animated, but I guess that makes him even more awesome.

Keep it up! Will you be doing Von Nebula and Rotor?

Really great designs. I love how you varied each one's posture and physique slightly depending on their personality. It's most evident on Corroder, who has a dastardly, scheming look.

Design-wise, Meltdown is definitely my favorite, although that could be because he was one of the better-designed villain sets in the first place. I'd love to see a drawing of Meltdown with his weapons.

Beautiful work overall.

Not a particularly huge fan of these designs. They ignore most of the important features or weapons of the sets in favour of general personal preference, I guess.

Xplode is the worst offender, dropping his trademark and oft-used spike-rocket shoulderpads and his swordthing for stuff not nearly as interesting. Overall his design doesn't really work as Xplode. If it weren't for the head I wouldn't think Xplode at all.

Corroder just needs those arm-blade-things switched with his actual acid shooters, otherwise he's pretty pitch perfect, design wise.

Meltdown is alright, but I can't hear his voice coming from Shockwave's head, and it's missing his pincers, I can see where the slime-stuff would shoot out, and I do miss his tentacle. And while Meltdown as Shockwave is a cool idea, I actually kind of like him as his own character, and not a reference.

Thunder's pretty great, but is sorely needing his gripper hand at least, and have the forearms be less generic-big-robot-arm and more evocative of the original part. Same goes for the torso, I guess, but it looks pretty good as is. His bulk and stature are just great, I like him big and bulky.

Vapour's feet and shoulder things could stand to look more like the original piece, or at the very least look like clawed feet. I'd like to see the orange tubes and red Bohrok eyes be present as well. Keeping his distinguishing features is a good idea for a noncharacter like Vapour.

Overall, the designs look pretty cool, but their resemblance to the original characters varies from almost perfect to not at all, which, in my opinion, is a strike against them.

I don't see how drawing them in a particular style and thus reinterpreting them is a strike against them. All of them are instantly recognisable. The things you criticise them for is the style in which they are drawn, and for that style, they are fabulous.

Great work.

No. No I wasn't.

The style can be maintained without taking away key features of the characters, sure they're recognizable, but I also recognize their missing pieces and traits that characterized them. This is not a style issue, I personally love the style, but I find several design choices lacking. (Although Xplode only has the proper head and colors to his name.)

Fair enough. I still believe these drawings look great like this though. The differeneces really don't bother me.
