I was looking at the Lego keychains, when a question came to my mind: can you remove their parts?

I assume you can,but I fear that the pieces could be glued together.

Anybody got a keychain? If so,could you answer this question? Thanks.

All the parts are glued together. Apparently you can remove them if you try hard enough though, although I would be worried about breaking it.

Well, not really all glued together, otherwise they would be stiff, no?

In fact, all parts are mobile. Head rotates, arms and legs move. I forget if hair/hats move on the head.

I believe the only glue used is trunk to legs. The metal pin in the middle of the head which the keychain attaches to probably keeps the head on the body so it can't easily come off.

i would like to know this also. i have a keychain. im worried that it will fall part one day while im out shopping for groceries !!! in my case, i hope they are glued...

im mostly concerned with the head to the hat/hair. it seems to weak a connection if not glued.

the hands and arms aren't guled, cause they move freely, and the legs and hips move too...

so really the only thing in question is the torso to hips, and the head to the hat.

oh, and the head to torso too.

i wouldn't worry about that. i got a vader keychain from ras74 last year at the billund event , put it on my kaychain and it 's still serving me very well.

besides, if you want to put out the metal element, you really have to pull very hard, but it's doable. i bought i few troopers and several r2d2's last year and did just that. afterwards, you'd have to fill up the hole, obviously, but i wouldn't worry about the keychains falling apart...

The keychains do not fall apart. What happens to them is that the faces and other print get worn off over time by rubbing keys etc, in your pocket.
