CptMugwash Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Hi, I've found the perfect lego storage solution for me. Here. They're about £26 each which is about $41. I'm sure there are something similar across the pond. I'm going to get a few once the shed is finished. Quote
Notorious Guf Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I was thinking about getting the box4blox, which costs about USA$40 as well. It's got one more level of sorting than the Lego head, and I read some online reviews saying it's pretty good but seems a bit brittle and might crack easily. I think Lego made the head sorter to compete with this one. I decided they're both a bit too pricey for me, anyway. (Also the Lego head gives me a creepy vibe .) I've had one of these Box 4 Blox for I'd say close to 20 years. It's brilliant and would definitely recommend it. I unfortunately cracked one of the trays a few weeks ago, I had too much LEGO in it at the time and the tray slipped out of my hands. Otherwise they are well built & should last you just as long as mine & probably a lot longer. Mine still looks as good as new otherwise :D Quote
Dazmundo Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 If you just want them for storage not sorting, then this must be a cheaper way to go! Heads or Bricks D Quote

This is probably a good time to link to the dedicated storage and sorting thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=26213&st=270 There's a lot of talk about containers and organization over there. I recently got a cabinet like the one you linked there that I talked about recently in that thread. Quote
CptMugwash Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Hi Zeya, those akro mills containers look like the bees knees I think this storage solution is better than any TLG brand storage, more storage, more practical and for about the same price, but go for the lego ones if you want the novelty of Lego. For storage it doesn't bother me. Quote
