The Mugbearer Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 All those blastas is a good deal, - Zed grumbled, while assembling somethnig on his work desk. - But in our Universe there's still remaining a place for organic creatures... and if they will come, the Makuhero City will be in big trouble, - the fire flash has indicated that assembling has been successfully completed. Flamethrower is a classic weapon. Zed gas expanded and upgraded it. The can with concentrated promethium could provide a thousands degrees of real hell fire. Old robot has built this weapon for William Furno during defending the colony, where Zed lived for many years. Though their opponents were Xplode, Corroder and the rest of, but even their armor was melted under the pressure of flamer. After the mission William has took this weapon as a keepsake, and now it is in the most conspicuous place of Hero Factory's armory with a note: 'W. Furno's personal weapon.' And here's Furno himself with a flamethrower. Hero Factory has modified Furno's body so he can use flamer. It can resist over thousand degrees beyond the both sides of Zero. In comparison with Natalie Breez he looks good: And there is Furno without armor: Quote
DeathMakuta Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Well done -N13OS-! A very well thought out MOC. I love the way you also edited Furno's body design to look more 'Fire Proof'. I think hero factory sets are too simple. If they were made in complex ways like you you made Furno, I would buy them in larger numbers. Congrats! Quote
ZORK64 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 The way he holds the flamethrower reminded me of the Space Marines from Warhammer 40.000. He looks awesome! Quote
The Mugbearer Posted January 27, 2011 Author Posted January 27, 2011 @ Death Makuta, thank you! ^^ I am very glad that here, on EuroBricks, the people are very affable and like my MOCs. =)) @ ZORK64, exactly! Spacemarines' flamers has inspired me to make this guy. You can't imagine, how long I've scampered about it's back handle. =) Quote
Aedai Rivin Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Hello. This is my first of hopefully many posts. I have lurked this site for awhile and are aware of posting rules. -N13OS-, I loved your design so much I just had to build one for myself and now I have two of these standing beside me. One thng I would change for the body design; I think that you should replace the upper arms with the new 2.0 upper limb pieces. It really improves the look of the figure. Finally, would you mind if I posted my variations on this design, crediting you? If not that's fine. Aedai Rivin Quote
Milargo Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) Very nicely designed flamethrower, clever use of the launcher piece(?). It flows smoothly and integrates well with Furno's color scheme and proportions. Although I would suggest replacing the neon green Bohrok eye with a silver, or black colored version. And I adore the flame-canister, perhaps for continuities you could add two flame canisters vertical or horizontal on his back for storage? Edited January 30, 2011 by Milargo Quote
The Mugbearer Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 Aedal Rivin, unfortunately, I haven't any 2.0 and won't for a weeks. Yes, you could post'em, of course. =) Although I would suggest replacing the neon green Bohrok eye with a silver, or black colored version. It is Flamer's igniter. =) It must be transparent. Plus I wanted to make it matching with Furno's color scheme. =) And I adore the flame-canister, perhaps for continuities you could add two flame canisters vertical or horizontal on his back for storage? Very possible. =) Thank you both, guys! Quote
