j30spiff Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I reside in snow covered Connecticut in the United States. Myself and my two children have been into Lego for a little over a year now. We are into Lego Star Wars, Batman, and Harry Potter. Quote
prateek Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Welcome to Eurobricks! BTW, I'm sure Connecticut doesn't have that much snow Quote
BrickPerfection Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Welcome to Eurobricks! Well, that somebody is pulled out of his dark age by his children is interesting, though not uncommon. Do you only build with your kids or do you also buy Lego that is just for yourself? Quote
j30spiff Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) Welcome to Eurobricks! Well, that somebody is pulled out of his dark age by his children is interesting, though not uncommon. Do you only build with your kids or do you also buy Lego that is just for yourself? Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have an 8-yr old daughter and 6-yr old son and we each have our own sets. I always doubt my sons building ability but he built the Republic Attack Gunship (7676) all by himself last month before Christmas. I was pretty impressed. My daughter doesn't even want me in the same room as her when she builds. I have always liked Lego, never had any growing up. It wasn't until my kids played Lego Star Wars at their Uncle's house that they even knew what it was. Then a great sale on Black-Friday led to my son's first set and the rest is history.
