LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) Greetings EBer's, I'd like to present my city layout. It was set up 1997-2011 and, obviously, years in the making. Most sets are from the 90's and early 2000's but, there are also fewer sets from the 80's and present. Since my "Dark Age' ended, it became extremely over crowded. This, I know. Since then, it has been boxed up in preparation for ease of move, whenever that happens, and for better conditions for the other sets not on display. Questions and comments are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for viewing Here is a partial overview of the city, as well as a link to other pictures of the city, it's deconstruction, and the full collection Edit: Revised intro and new link Edited January 19, 2012 by Leg Godt Gud Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 What a busy place, what an overcrowded city......great work anyway 'Leg Godt Gud'...excellent police station ! How do you build and set up in such a tight spot ? Anyway, keep up the great work and Brick On 'Leg Godt Gud' ! Quote
Decale Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Maybe I'm just curious, but can you tell us how many times you walked on a brick in the back of your room and shouted"Goddam f*$¤#~g piece of s@°+, this time, I quit LEGO!!!" Actually, I'm quite jealous of your collection, that's an attractive city you have Leg Godt Gud. Tell me when I can come to your place Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Thank you lightningtiger and Decale for your kind comments. I actually build right outside the entrance but, have not added any new sets due to the lack of room. Any set that is not NIB is unfortunately put into large storage containers and placed in the dark attic to prevent UV damage and dust. Those that do end up in the city usually replace a different set(s). Maybe I'm just curious, but can you tell us how many times you walked on a brick in the back of your room and shouted"Goddam f*$¤#~g piece of s@°+, this time, I quit LEGO!!!" Actually, I'm quite jealous of your collection, that's an attractive city you have Leg Godt Gud. Tell me when I can come to your place On the contrary, I have actually never stepped on a brick, just kicked over a minifig or two. Usually a fireman, when I spin around to get back out.. I have left 2 spaces (on either side of the crawler crane) with enough room in back for one or both feet, granted I have to crouch on the ball of my feet. Quite uncomfortable, I can only stay like that for a few minutes at a time:laugh: Being 6'3" with walls that reach 5'6" doesn't help but, the angle of the walls help greatly with balance. Something to lean and slide. Stop by anytime! Quote
Capn Frank Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I have finally figured out how to resize the files. The quality is very low and I'm still not to sure how to get more than just these five. Can't shrink them anymore. I have a MACbook and could use some advice for adding more photos and this "global upload quota". Mr. Play Well, You could upload your photos to a free upload site (like brickshelf.com or flickr.com) and then post the images into this thread. Here is a link to EB's very own Tutorial Index. There you'll find tutorials about how to upload photos onto Brickshelf and post picture. Quote
