Fistach Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Hello everyone. Please take a look at ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.pl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270697714770&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT I have my huge collection for sale! It is good for builders and sellers. More information on auction!
JopieK Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 You are not going to abandon your hobby are you? I find your mountain train build very nice!
Tobbe Arnesson Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Oh dude, what a sucking-suck! Here's hoping you don't have to sell at all or at least get a lot of money for it!
Fistach Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 I hope I will manage to start building in few years again :(
roamingstop Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) You would be much better off taking the time to split the set into smaller bundles. For example I think I saw a railbricks custom flatbed truck - brown - (one of their offers) which would go for 150 Euro on its own. I guess whatever is causing you this anguish - it is better to remove the far too low price and split the lots - even if it is for shorter selling periods it will help you gain more $$ (or PL) than one too larger a lot. And dont forget to keep some simple blocks for yourself - and LDD for designing freely. Edited January 26, 2011 by roamingstudio
RockeTeK Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I would be interested in the PF elements, but not all the rest... please contact in PM!
vexorian Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Yeah, you should probably split, that way you may even manage to fix your situation in the middle of the road thus you may be able to keep some of it. And it is very hard to find buyers for whole collections, specially with the current situation, but it is your choice.
Zeya Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Yeah, you should probably split, that way you may even manage to fix your situation in the middle of the road thus you may be able to keep some of it. And it is very hard to find buyers for whole collections, specially with the current situation, but it is your choice. Good idea with splitting. I have to say, it will be much easier to sell chunks of things. If you can gather things together into full sets this might be easier to sell and net you more money. If you put up a group of sets for sale on eBay, say all from the same theme and all the same year, I think there will be more success. And that way it will still be a large enough chunk such that you won't be making too many trips to ship (and buy packing supplies). If possible try and sell sets that you would be less attached to, but ideally sell for a larger price and are likely to sell quickly. Good luck. It's rough out there right now for many people; just know that you aren't alone and you'll make it through.
Fistach Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Thank you guys for the support. if I do not sell this as one lot I will divide it by colors and sell train technic etc elements separately. Thank you once again!
