benny Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 As i collected so many lime green, it is the best time to make a japanese style toy house. For the front of house, it is the western style, the back is japanese style. This toy shop is mainly selling the toy-gun, sports equipment. At the side of the house, it has Mario and mushroom logo!!! nicoga3000 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I like it - Lime Green is a crazy color and it's fun to see a neat use of it. But, pardon my ignorance, how is this a Japanese style house? Maybe I'm just not seeing it. Quote

It is consist the japanese style and western style as the building in Japan was affected by Holland and Europe! Quote
KyleJohnson11 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 That is a very cool store! I love the Mario and the Mushroom. They fit perfectly with the style of house you were going for. Quote

LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Great MOC benny Really like the "mural' of Mario and the mushroom! Awesome job, they look just like they do on t.v. Quote
wooootles Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I hate to use such an overused and now stale word, but the Mario sides are E-P-I-C. Quote
L@go Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 That is a cute little toy shop. Sorry to repeat what the others have said, but the Mario mosaic is just the perfect detail to top it off! Quote

Thanks! Actually, the production of Mario Mosaic was also studied from other lego fans in brickshelf! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Oh wow, I love the overall lime color scheme of this toy shop, it's quite a tough color to work with especially for a CC-style structure but I must say you did a great job pulling this one seamlessly. The brickbuilt Mario Bros. mural on each side are very nice details, and interiors and back part are well done also. Impressive work as always benny! Quote
dr_spock Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Very nice build. Good use of lime green. Quote
Princess Muttonchops Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Awesome MOC benny! The Mario and Mushroom built into the sides work a treat, and the lime green, how'd you get your hands on so much lime green? Seriously, I want to live on that street somewhere...any plans to build a condo? Quote
Cinderbike Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Great MOC. Love the murals on the side. Quote

Good job accumulating so much lime green. I guess if we went through our collection of bricks we might have a similar amount, but it's largely bagged up at the moment. Unpacking sucks... Quote
Tabris Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Very nice MOC. Mario and Mushroom logo are genius. Quote
