AoiJuuni from BZP has asked Lego about Meca One's 'missing' legs in SV, and the person said that they'd already been informed and will ship the legs out for free, if you just ask for the Gold Robot's Legs From Striking Venom.

Hopefully you won't get copper...

Sent my request yesterday and got the reply today
Thank you for your email from 06/08/06 regarding the quality of LEGO

That was from the email the LEGO Direct service sent me in confirmation.

I think if you want to request legs of your own you have to go through the customer service section of their site like I did

http://www.lego.com/eng/service/contactusform.asp

All they need you to do is fill in what the problem is, give your mailing address and email address, and boom, you're good to go deino.gif

Mine will arrive first as I sent mine of ages ago. Not even the one day less you could get would cancel it out.

Well it's not a race here LT ;-)

I was just saying that between us two we'll be able to inform everyone as to how fast we get them, if they're the correct color, what kind of "apology letter" we get from LEGO, etc. deino.gif

Sorry for the DP, needed to draw attention to the thread.

I used the part number Tilius posted, and now I have a complete Meca One.

Very happy.

The letter stated that although the set had 'passed' the review stage, they are now goingto package the legs in all further Striking Venom sets. Hooray!

probably the serial number from the barcode. but that can be easily abused by going to a toy shop and "steal" the numbers from the boxes. i reckon you could just as easily con a complete minifig by using 4 barcodes (1 for headgear, 1 for head, 1 for torso and 1 for leg).
