Zane Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 AoiJuuni from BZP has asked Lego about Meca One's 'missing' legs in SV, and the person said that they'd already been informed and will ship the legs out for free, if you just ask for the Gold Robot's Legs From Striking Venom. Hopefully you won't get copper... -Tilius-
Deinonychus Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Oh...that's good to know... As it was I was going to write in and tell them my robot legs were "missing" and if they could please send me replacements :-P
Lord Thrawn Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 I may do this once someone else has... after all, it does show the fig with legs on the box. EDIT:Done. Should arrive in 10 working days yesterday.
Deinonychus Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Sent my request yesterday and got the reply today Thank you for your email from 06/08/06 regarding the quality of LEGO
Lord Thrawn Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Mine will arrive first as I sent mine of ages ago. Not even the one day less you could get would cancel it out.

Deinonychus Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 That was from the email the LEGO Direct service sent me in confirmation. I think if you want to request legs of your own you have to go through the customer service section of their site like I did http://www.lego.com/eng/service/contactusform.asp All they need you to do is fill in what the problem is, give your mailing address and email address, and boom, you're good to go Mine will arrive first as I sent mine of ages ago. Not even the one day less you could get would cancel it out. Well it's not a race here LT ;-) I was just saying that between us two we'll be able to inform everyone as to how fast we get them, if they're the correct color, what kind of "apology letter" we get from LEGO, etc.
Lord Thrawn Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Ah I misunderstood. I meant it all in a harmless way. Looking forward to the legs and a complete Meca One!
Lord Thrawn Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Sorry for the DP, needed to draw attention to the thread. I used the part number Tilius posted, and now I have a complete Meca One. Very happy. The letter stated that although the set had 'passed' the review stage, they are now goingto package the legs in all further Striking Venom sets. Hooray!
Kikuichimonji Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Do you have to prove you bought the set? I'd like some of those legs... 8-|
natelite Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 probably the serial number from the barcode. but that can be easily abused by going to a toy shop and "steal" the numbers from the boxes. i reckon you could just as easily con a complete minifig by using 4 barcodes (1 for headgear, 1 for head, 1 for torso and 1 for leg).
