Sir E Fullner Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Nice design. What do they call the EMMY's, by the way? Quote
Syn Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Nice design. What do they call the EMMY's, by the way? "Brickeys" I this is pretty cute I like the girls dress. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Excellent vig you have there 'a53021', that's alot of awards eh ? COOL custom female figure, mega detailing - those lights above the stage....very clever. Just a fantastic design and idea too 'a53021' and keep on MOCing ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 A lovely vignette a53021! I knew it was just a matter of time before we see an Oscars-like awarding ceremony with the introduction of the microfig trophy, and this one perfectly captures what we'd expect in a real awarding scene. The whole build looks really glamorous fit for a showbiz event. Great job! Quote
SilentMode Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Very good job on the vignette! The lectern and the stage light were pretty much nailed. I might try making one. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Nice design. What do they call the EMMY's, by the way? "Emmy" awards are the Academy awards for t.v. "Emmy" was chosen as a feminization of "immy", a nickname used for the image orthicon tubes that were common in early television cameras. Which is why they use a statuette holding an atom. Neat vig you built a53021 Alternative idea: add another minifig to stand in as that a**, Kanye West, and change her head to the "freaked out look" and you have the Taylor/ Kanye incident Quote
