reload Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) Hi Everyone, I just thought I would share my MOC from the recent brilliant event downunder at Brickvention 2011, and also to give a bit of a Eurobricks Exclusive by posting all the details about it here. The Love Boat It is approximatley 250,000 pieces. its over 3.2 meters long, 1 meter high. It is built in 2x 32 baseplate modules for transport and assembly. No pieces are glued. It contains over 400 LED lights for the interior It has many Power functions including: Lifeboat raise/lower, propeller, rudder, anchor, internal lifts and bow thrusters. About 450 minfigs are scattered throughout the ship. It took around about 450 hours to construct with 70 of that being design time. There is a stack of easter eggs and hidden stuff including movie references, love boat related things and all sorts of other wierd stuff :) The Model will also be shown in June at Brickworld Chicago. You can see plenty more pics on my flickr account: My Flickr Account Edited January 17, 2011 by reload Quote
