Looks excellent. It looks more realistic now the ship is at waterlevel

And with all the barrels and things on the deck the grey headlight bricks don't bother me anymore.

The rigging looks great as well so far. I only think that the blue 1x2 plates are a bit out of place.

The rest of the ship is very realistic, but somehow I feel like those plates don't seem to fit there very well.

Outside of that you did a good job!

I'm not sure on this but shouldn't the shrouds run slightly backwards towards the stern rather than straight up and down? It was some thing I missed on my ship and it was too late to fix by the time I found out, If you have not started the rat lines you should try the shrouds at an angle.

If Admiral Croissant or Captain Green Hair can confirm this that would be sweet.

I love the scale of this ship and as others have said the shape is superb!

well it looks great,

love your eye for detail, the ship is actually secured against the dock, the fender and so.

my guess is that they are smugglers, small fast ship ;) with a rough looking crew, paying off the redcoat

Confirmed :pir-classic:

But perhaps if that's too difficult you could get the same effect by adding one more line to both masts.

And on later schooners the angle is minimal anyway as you can see here.

But, as you can see here, the angle is clearly there.

That's defenitly a nice ship now. I like the rigging so far. Maybe the 2x1 plates are out of place, but they got something unique so far - I don't think they are to strange...

Will she get's sails, too? Did she have a name allready? (One I didn't read in the other posts?)

by the way: I heard RedCoats could be paid in Rum and Tea, too - so don't waste money on them:)

@Admiral Croissant: OK, I'll do that from now, changed it allready.

The shrouds are at an angle - but maybe not as aggressive an angle as you have in mind. The chain plates extend two studs in front of the centre of the mast, and four studs behind it. The only issue I have with extending the shrouds further aft is that it limits the angle that the booms are able to swing through.

I knew I'd catch some heat for the blocks :pir_laugh2: A agree they do look a little strange, but due to the size of the ship even a 1x2 block looks large! I kind of like them, so they'll stay for now.

She will get sails at some point. I don't think I'm going to name her until she's really complete.
