Solscud007 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) So I posted up my outdoor snow ATAT pictures on facebook. My friend commented and asked if I have a SW collection. I told him what I had. Then he says "I have a star wars lego piece I give u next time u here" So im in town now and we met up for dinner. He hands me a partial cannon from the front end of what could be a Republic Gunship or AT-TE. He asks me "do you know what that goes to?" So I said either Republic Gunship or AT-TE I think. He said "ok, well the rest of it is in my car. Im missing some pieces and I dont know where they are" But once he finds them he will send them my way. So I got a free Republic gunship. With minifigs. I already have this RGS but have been wanting to replicate Kieldaman's Arc Gunship. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=45325&st=0&p=793171&fromsearch=1entry793171 Here is the free RGS. Some parts are missing. But who cares right? I now have a relatively decent start on making my own ARC Gunship. Now to analyze Kieldaman's MOC and steal his ideas lol. To be honest, when my friend said "Piece" I thought maybe some loose legos and maybe a minifig or two. Not a RGS!!! Edited January 14, 2011 by Solscud007
XimenaPaulina Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Great find Solscud, and an even 'greater' friend you have there I must say, lucky you! You certainly don't need to 'steal' my ideas, it's out there for 'public consumption'. You just need a bunch of blue parts and you're set to go!
Flare Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 A great friend indeed! Congrats of on your great find, man.
Masked Builder Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Wow! You have the right friend! Wish one of my friends would give me his Lego..
Brickdoctor Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Lucky you, Solscud. Looks like it's just missing an engine, forward cannon, and the stickers. I do wonder where your friend picked it up from, though, since it's a relatively recent set, not like when people grow out of LEGO and give it away.

I only know him thru another toy that we commonly collect. But he gave stuff away back then too. He said he bought this but didnt really have interest in it. weird. He posted up his Winter Village on FB. It was the recent Toy shop and Winter village plus he has all the large town sets like Grand Emporium, green grocer etc. And he says he doesnt collect legos.
