BingoBenny Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Hello everyone, I used to have Lego when I was younger but now I don't have/collect any! I stumbled across the site after reading about Darren Smith and his hefty collection of his Lego. The main reason for coming here is to ask for help from any UK members. My name is Benjamin Jones and I am in my third year of university. As part of my degree, I have to do a dissertation (which makes up 40% of my final degree) and I have chosen to create a 10-15 minute documentary on collectors and the collections. I am here to ask if anyone would be interested in allowing me to come and meet them, film them and their collections for my piece of work. I am currently in talks with a collector of a totally different item and I think the contrast would be good. Also after reading the news article on Darren Smith and how his Lego was possibly causing marital problems, was very interesting. I knew this would be a problem when coming to create this piece of work. I am in my final year of my BA (Hons) degree in Film and Media Studies.
