mpec82 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) Always liked level luffing cranes and cause i work in a container terminal i thought 8053 was a must have. But i wasn't happy with the dimension so i made it bigger: but it was too heavy (also with the PF battery pack as counteweight and with the arm fully retracted) and not well-proportioned so: Second version has hook instead of spreader and smaller base but cause it's a fixed crane i don't think it will be a problem (will be fixed on a 48x48 base). mpec82 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 Nice crane is it the model you work with? No, sadly I don't work on the cranes, I'm a docker. This type of crane can be found in the old part of the harbor, for the containers there's this one: Quote
