DLuders Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 On his Brickshelf gallery, Coney/Contech7 posted 19 BIG pictures of his Willys Super Jeep 6x6 Trial Truck. The shows its capabilities. He wrote that it is "My attempt at a Technic Trial Truck based off of a Willys Super Jeep 6X6. Powered by two XL motors under the hood driving three separate drive shafts, one to each axle. Also features fully independent suspension and front lights." Quote
nielsvdv Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 isn't it kinda wide? The rocks would scratch the bottom a lot :s Quote
grohl Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) In Czech LEGO Technic Truck Trial the gates are 30 studs wide and only a few of them wider, so this would not even be able to start the section because it would not enter it. Edited January 11, 2011 by grohl Quote
yoraish Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 It looks good, performs well, but again, it's too wide. And the suspension looks like tatra suspension, why? Quote
Out of Sight Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I like the overall design, perfectly captures the Willys. But yes, the suspension would be more accurate with a rigid live-axle setup instead of independent. Great MOC nevertheless! Quote

And the suspension looks like tatra suspension, why? if yuo look at the pictures on brickshelf, you can see it is a tatra suspension, but roughly made, its even hard to recognize the tatra style. my tatra is almost half as wide as his :s Quote
