Hey everyone, I never made an intro topic under the name Ratshot. Before I went inactive in the summer of 2009 I had Zorro change my name from "Broadside" to what it is now.

I thought I should properly introduce myself under my "new" name. I've put this of for a year and a half, very pathetic on my part.

My name is Michael Delaney, I'm 17 years old and I live in a little village called Browns Flat which is near Saint John, New Brunswick. To sum it up I'm on the east coast of Canada, and no I don't live in an igloo.

I currently have a job as a storekeeper at the local convenience store/ gas station. The sole reason I got my job there was to support my habit of buying Lego, pretty crazy eh? :tongue:

I'm also a volunteer firefighter, its the most rewarding thing that I've ever done in my life. I'm the head honcho at the local Army Cadet Core.

Some of my interests are....

* Hunting.

* Target shooting.

* Hockey, I watch local, International and NHL. I occasionally play hockey from time to time.

* American Football. (My football nickname is "dirtbag" because I'm always tripping ans shoving the other players)

* European football/soccer. (Same nickname as above!)

* Softair/Airsoft (Something like paintball except you use plastic pellets)

* Swimming.

* Skiing.

So as some of you may already know I intend to join the reserves when I get done school, carpentry or firefighting will be my main occupation. I can't wait to get done high school....I hate it with a passion! I'm a fanatical fan of Mr.T and the Ateam. Cars are a big part of my life even though I don't own one, the Dodge Charger is my all time favorite. I take my drivers license test is this upcoming Wednesday (fingers crossed!) Finding Eurobricks in 2008 is what has kept my interest in Lego alive. Pirates is my all time favorite theme, WWI/WWII/Korea/Vietnam is close behind, and last but not least...Star Wars.

(Me Christmas day with my new paintball mask)

I hope to be an active ember here on EB for the rest of my life :grin:

Thanks for reading and fell free to ask questions.

Good to get some inside facts on the infamous Rat shot.

Just kidding. Well I guess all that's left to say is welcome to Eurobricks? :wacko:

Welcome to Eurobricks! :laugh:

It's nice to know a bit more about the members here on EB. I was thinking of doing a reintroduction too, but I'm too lazy to compile something the size of this. :tongue:

Welcome aboard. See you in the Canada and car thread. :classic:

I don't go in those threads much. When I get a car later this year I'll post a pic.

A late but deserving nonetheless welcome to you Ratshot! It was nice to read your detailed intro, now I know the reason behind the Mr. T (and all his treasure around his neck) avatar. :laugh:

Wow, a member on the same continent at least. Most of 'em seem to be over in Europe... can't figure out why. :wink:

I never knew you had another (forum)name. It was already changed by the time I started getting active I believe.

I'm sure you do. :tongue:

Or maybe that's where your Lego is stored. :look:

I'm also a volunteer firefighter, its the most rewarding thing that I've ever done in my life.

Sweet! :sweet: My wife also volunteers as an EMT at our local fire department. :thumbup:

That's cool that you would like to join the reserves. :thumbup: I was in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, which is similar to the reserves, with the same level of training as full-time Army and Army Reserves.

Thanks for sharing er.. Broadside, Michael, Mike...

er.. Ratshot. :grin:

A very long dull story. My name comes from a anti-rat/mouse .22 caliber bullet.

I'm sure you do. :tongue:

Or maybe that's where your Lego is stored. :look:

Keep my Lego outside? I don't think so!!!

Sweet! :sweet: My wife also volunteers as an EMT at our local fire department. :thumbup:

Tonight is Fire Hall training night for me. I was told that we are going to burn down an old building :devil: Can't wait :grin:

Ah-hem! :sadnew: Why isn't Lego on this list? :tongue:

Come on Phred! You know that it is automatically. on the top of the list :hmpf:

The National Gaurd is a really great organization, kudos to you for being in them :thumbup: I'm thinking that I would like to join the truck drivers battalion. Some of my friends went there and they love it.
