Omicron Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 (edited) I been wanting to make decals for awhile, specifically FF decals. I'm still new with it so bear with me on it. Made it in Paint since it is all I have. Based on Lightning's uniform in Final Fantasy XIII. *Note this isn't the finished product. Sandy Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 It looks really good for a first try, but Paint isn't really the right program to make decals (or any graphics outside pixel art, for that matter). If you want to work on this some more, I'd suggest adding some curves to the sides, maybe in light grey. Quote

Yeah a friend said I should try using Inkscape. And thanks! If I can do this good in paint, I'm sure inkscape wouldn't be that hard. I do intend on adding other details, and maybe fixing the buckles. -Omi Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Looks good Omi! Quite accurate details based on the ref. photo. I understand the pixelated look due to using MS Paint, I believe Inkscape will provide a better finish (even if I haven't tried it myself, though I already downloaded it). I hope to see an improved version of this and see this in one of your customs soon. Quote
