kciR Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) While working on my MOC for the Winter Break contest (which I probably upload tonight) I had a bunch of other ideas, which I couldn't fit into my MOC, but want to show you nevertheless. The first is a micro version of the Diagon Alley. With all the main shops and buildings on micro scale, each with their own characteristics. Microscale is a lovely scale to work on! MOC in original state. Opened up. From left to the right a gate, Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Quality Quidditch Supplies, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, a statue, Eeylops Owl Emporium, Ollivander's, The Leaky Cauldron. My second creation: Greyback makes the Dark Mark appear after killing his victim. (Too bad the snake doesn't exist in grey) She screamed for help in her last second, but it was already to late. Another view. I hope you enjoyed these two small MOCs. Edited January 3, 2011 by kciR Quote
pompommini Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) WOW! The face in the dark mark looks nice and you used some techniques I would of never thought to have used in micro scale! Good work! Edited January 3, 2011 by pompommini Quote
buddy Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Great MOCs! They are both accurate and detailed. I especially like the microscale Diagon Alley, it is very accurate considering its small size and scale. Very well done. ~buddy~ Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Nice one kciR! The micro Diagon Alley looks really cute and accurate for its size. The Dark Mark MOC is very well done too. Good job! Quote
