Hi,

Here is a small Christmas town layout we have put together during the recent holiday. As you will notice it features some new and old Lego sets as well as a few MOCs:

  • 10199 Winter Toy Shop
  • 10216 Winter Village Bakery
  • 3739 Blacksmith Shop
  • 10193 Medieval Market Village
  • and the 35 year old 133 steam locomotive.

Also some small contributions from the recent Advent Calendar sets.

So, take a look and let us know what you think.

Ski hill (it works fine - the skiers drive down the hill and almost all the way over to the cargo station ramp before coming to a halt).

Very nice ;) it looks very cozy. It reminds me of our own snow village. We also have the blacksmith shop in ours and steam engines (but then maybe 30 year old one's)

I like the way the 35 year old locomotive fits in. It shows that Lego hasn't fundamentally changed all those years.

Very nice Winter Village layout Andreas! It's good to see the combination of the official WV sets with your own MOCs, and even including the MMV there. I really like the mini ski-hill and the addition of the classic steam locomotive.

Please resize your images though. EB's guidelines are 800x600 max. Usually 640x480 work just fine. Much appreciated.

Thanks for your comments.

Sorry about the image size. I have now rescaled the images (and added a few).

Excellent layout, all the different parts of it work well together! I especially like the ski ramp. :classic:

Extremely well done.

Looks awesome, I really like all the snow, the train and all those details. This makes me want to make my own winter village. The old medieval buildings look even better and reminds me of those old pictures I saw as a child when it was Christmas. Sadly it's already over, but you creation brings back some of that spirit. Would you want to make a comment on my City december update, I really would like to have some thoughts about it from other City-building people, The link is in my signature
