Captain Becker Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 i accidently broke one LEGO chain today, the other side where the chain can be attached left off. I was a bit sad yes, but the chain can be still used, and i have one 1x1 round brick also. Captain Becker Quote
IAmWillGibson Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Just to add to this, I see now the Bat I picked up at the start of October has three 1x2 bricks, each of them splitting up the bottom. Maybe this has always happened and I'm only noticing now because I've been out of the scene for so long. Either way... el stinko. First post, so here goes. I was always under the impression that Lego was impervious to harm [except Technic... that stuff broke on me with relative frequency]. But I noticed lately that a lot of bricks seem to be splitting, far more frequently than I thought possible. I have a 1x2 flat plate from, I think, one of the Creator mini sets last year and it's split up both sides. Worse, the 1x2 brick with knobs on it from the micro crane in the Advent calender is cracked in two lines up one side, and it's only been built for 9 days [the calender makes it easy to back-date it]. They're both yellow... Is this a colour thing? A manufacturing thing? Lowering quality? Am I doing something wrong here? It's distressing, to say the least. Quote
JopieK Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I built the 4841 Hogwarts Express and noticed that the Light Bluish Gray Plate 6 x 6 plate of the care more looks like 'milky gray'. I think I will contact customer services. More people experiencing the same thing? Quote
Jvvv Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I had exactly the same thing - the 6x6 plate was something between gray, LightPearl grey and translucent white. Quote
