Tereglith Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 I got the Kingdoms Advent Calendar this year, only to realize this morning that it doesn't have a Santa Claus analogue! So, taking inspiration from Terry Pratchett's "Hogfather", I sought to rectify this, and twenty minutes later I had produced this: I have no idea whether or not it's accurate or not, but it looks medieval! The sack is made out of brown capes (which I believe is unorthodox use #5 so far) to give it a different texture. I was daunted by the prospect of making reindeer, so maybe next year. Where could Proto-Santa be going next? Why, to the Medieval Winter Village, of course! The MMV and the Kingdoms Advent Calendar go together like chocolate and more chocolate (Which is to say excellently). I've simply been adding the contents of the advent calendar to it all December and it's been looking more and more festive. That's the tree from the Winter Toy Shop minus the lights in the middle. Merry Christmas (or Happy belated Hannukah or Happy Kwanzaa [i've never met anyone who celebrates Kwanzaa, actually...] or Happy Festivus or Happy no holiday at all if you would prefer)and may you find lots of rattling boxes under the tree! Capt. Stabbin Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Nice job, Tereglith! Very festive! It needs a little red to go with the green leaf elemet, but it still looks great! And it goes perfect with your MWV! Keep up the good work, and have a merry Christmas! Quote

buddy Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Great MOC! I like the overall look of both your sledge and in particular your village. The village looks great with the advent calendar in the background and the Christmas tree in the middle. Very well done. ~buddy~ Quote
