Dreamweb Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 I've seen some people upload pdf files to their Brickshelf galleries (like HERE) - they seem to work just fine. However, when I tried to upload such file, it took some time (meaning it was actually being uploaded), but the file was not there! I don't think it's the matter of size, I've tried with large and small files - no luck! Any idea what the problem is? Quote

I used to upload custom instructions of my MOCs as .pdf files, but haven't been able to do it since May, if I remember right. All .pdf files that were uploaded before they stopped accepting them are still available. Quote
Dreamweb Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 That kind of sucks they did that. But thanks for the info! Quote
davee123 Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I don't know, but I expect Kevin did it because PDFs are more annoying to moderate-- images are easy to view and tell at a glance (mostly) whether they're acceptable or not. But PDFs require you to open a viewer in order to see what's in them. That's just a guess, though. Could be something else entirely like wanting to cut down on supported media or something.
