Thanks darth yogi. I didn't had those trans-clear pieces too before, just ordered them all from BL. Just get one of that Slave I cockpit piece and 20 of those 4x3x1 panels and you're already half-way there.

Thanks for posting these. Im gonna take a look at your ARC Gunship. Now that I have a donor RGS that I can use, I want to make one.

Are the pieces, in the LDD file, real existing pieces in actual colors?

Like the dark red front guns? Am I to assume that if it exists in LDD then it should exist as a real piece?

Unfortunately not all the pieces in that LDD file are available in standard lego colors.

Here are the list of the unavailable parts that I had to spraypaint:

44358 - not available in dark red/red

44359 - not available in dark red /red

6233 - not available in blue

47759 - not available in blue

Did you spray paint the whole assembly of the front guns? That 1 x 1 cone looks like it doesn't quite match up. Maybe it's just the lighting.

From what he said I would say he did. I do believe that cone is dark red while the other parts are spray painted.

Looking on his list, only the ball socket and the two halves of teh ball had to be spray painted red. Though after looking on BL, the Technic half pin doesn't appear in any sets in red. There is one seller selling them in that color, though. Not sure how the seller got a hold of them. Test injections, maybe?

Yup, I spray-painted the whole front gun assembly red. I didn't even took them apart since I got too lazy and just painted them as a whole.

So if you rotate the guns, does it expose a grey portion or scrape the paint off?

Unfortunately, yes, the grey portions get exposed. But I don't move them since the whole model is for display purposes only so no problemo.
