I started a lego blog a bit ago, with a different focus from many of the Lego blogs out there.

I try to analyze official LEGO sets, examining their relationship to culture, history, imperialism, and other topics. And sometimes I take a few sets from the same theme and create a backstory, or analyze the development of a common set (like the many iterations of the tow truck).

So let me know what you think!

A police state sounds hard when you consider that the cops have NO GUNS!

So, my theory is that in fact, the laws in LEGO city prohibit cops from using guns. The reason there are so many police men is that tons and tons of meat shields to deal with actually-armed thugs.
